AWEme “Man at Arms”

Every other Monday, master swordsmith Tony Swatton forges fans’ favorite weapons from video games, movies, and television in the web series, “Man at Arms.” Since launching in February 2012, the AWEMe YouTube channel has amassed more than 1.7 million subscribers with the help of its marquee show, “Man at Arms,” which averages more than 1.2 million views per episode.

In this specific episode, Tony tackles Mjölnir, Thor’s Hammer featured in the film Thor: The Dark World. Timed to the release of the movie, this episode received more than 3.4 million views and was covered on nerd and pop culture outsides such as Kotaku, Tastefully Offensive, Nerd Approved and more. The creative team behind Man at Arms has found a way to connect with pop culture fanatics and show them how some of the most complex weapons from TV, film, video games, comics and anime can come to life.
