When recently-divorced police officer Leah Bishop receives a transfer and promotion to a Glasgow branch of Interpol, she accepts in order to leave the past behind. She discovers her fellow officers are monsters from Scottish folklore, and they have recruited her to help them solve a very human crime: the first serial killing of faeries.
