At this point in my life, it’s come to my attention that I know a lot of interesting and cool people with interesting and cool jobs; the friend from high school who ran role playing campaigns is now a writer, the friend from college who was into comics is now a comic book historian, the friend of a friend you met once in Washington D.C. worked as a spaceship inspector for the U.S. government, and so on.
Then, there are the myriad artists whose work I’ve loved for years and for whom I have immense respect.
These elements, combined with the connectivity and access granted by social media have allowed me to create digressive_obscenity, and to share it with you.
At the moment, the first wave of digressive_obscenity is up and includes interviews with a myriad of different people, from game developer, Geek Mom and Wired contributor, Amy Kraft to the VP of Special Projects for Virgin Galactic, William Pomerantz to Chris Vrenna, the Grammy winning programmer/drummer/producer for bands such as Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, U2, Weezer and tweaker as well several other inhabitants in the realm of Geek.
Thanks for being a part of it.
