Although silhouettes have been around since the mid 18th Century, they remain the least expensive form of portraiture and still captivate our imagination. With my work, I have attempted new ways of bringing this art form into the 21st Century. Creating zombie silhouettes of people at Halloween was one such way. Steampunk superheros is another. My goal is to keep the simple, elegant, and traditional aspect of the craft, but also make them fun and mainstream.
