Stephanie is an actor, producer and content creator. Born and raised in Vancouver, she studied at Oxford and received a Master’s Degree from the University of Toronto. She’s been a driving force as a producer and actor in numerous web projects including the critically acclaimed After Judgment (6 Streamy nominations), Asylum (LA Web Fest winner, & picked up by BET), Babelgum’s Hurtling Through Space, and Tyler Mane’s The Mane Show. Most notably, Stephanie made the fan fiction trailer ElfQuest (based on the 34yr old comic series) which was recently featured in the New York Times, io9 & Attack of the Show among other publications and in an interview with CBS (www.elfquestfantrailer.com). This crowd-sourced production launched at WonderCon and was followed by a gala in LA hosted by The Screen Actors Guild. Over 27, 000 viewers watched the livestream and the site has had over 200,000 hits since April 5th 2011. She was honored to speak on a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2011 about her production. Recent honors for this project include Best Trailer at the 2011 IndieIntertube Awards, BaltiCon, and the Silver Prestige Award at the Prestige Film Award Festival. ElfQuest: A Fan Imagining was also an Official Selection at the Renovation Film Festival, the Phoenix Comicon Film Festival, and will be seen at Dragon*Con 2012. Stephanie has hosted 4 Celebrate the Web events (an interactive forum for genre web creators & fans) and hosted two global web festival for that non-profit organization.

She is one of the founding members of The League of Extraordinary Ladies—a group focused on fostering geek connections IRL. Stephanie continues to work in TV/film and garnered Best Actress in a Drama at the NYFilmFest. Her web acting credits also include guest appearances in the long-running Elevator and The Temp Life. She most recently starred in the Parsec Award-winning GOLD spin-off Night of the Zombie King, for which she was nominated as Best Supporting Actress by IndieIntertube in 2011 & 2012. Stephanie stars in new series Pairings and will appear in new series Legendary.

Her acting & producing work continues in returning series Shelf Life (www.shelflifeseries.com), which had a panel at San Diego’s Comic-Con 2012. Stephanie has signed on to produce Mark Gardner’s new project Weird Girls (www.weird-girls.com), and will star in & produce 2 new series she’s created: The Ladies/The Gents and SlumberCon.

An expert on New Media, Stephanie continues to speak at events around the country, appearing on such panels as “Geek Girls Create” at WonderCon 2012 and “The Most Dangerous Women at Comic-Con” at SDCC 2012.
